(CC) cytokines. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. Eotaxin displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil specific chemokine assumed to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections (1). Recommended Applications WB, IHC Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors WB: 1:1,000 - 10,000 (10 ng) IHC: 1:100 - 250 Species Reactivity * Human *Species cross-reactivity is based on WB analysis. Products Data Western blot analysis on 10 ng of Eotaxin recombinant protein using anti-Eotaxin RabMAb (cat. #5429-1). Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human lung tissue using anti-Eotaxin RabMAb (cat.# 5429-1). Specificity A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human Eotaxin was used as an immunogen. |
