Background
HRG1-β1 activates HER2/HER3 signaling and up-regulate Fn14 gene expression in parental MCF7 cells. HRG1-β1-mediated Fn14 up-regulation in MCF7/HER2-18 cells is required for maximal MMP-9 production[1].
